Meet Our Founder
Md. Shahin Mia
Founder and Executive Director
Md. Shahin Mia, our Founder and Executive Director, has dedicated his life to a singular vision: to seek out, support, and sustain the brilliant minds ('medhabider') who have been left behind by circumstance. His journey began with the profound belief that potential is universal, but opportunity is not.
This organization is the culmination of that belief, built to bridge the gap for talented dropouts ('jhore pora medhabider') and empower them to achieve their full potential for a sustainable future. His leadership guides our mission and inspires our team every day.
Our History
Founded on [Year], DOHPS began as a grassroots initiative to support a few talented students. Today, we have grown into a nationally recognized organization, yet our core principle remains the same: to find and nurture brilliance wherever it exists.
Our Mission
To identify, nurture, and provide holistic support to brilliant but underprivileged students ('jhore pora medhabider'), ensuring they can complete their education and achieve their potential, thereby fostering sustainable human development.
Our Vision
We envision a Bangladesh where no talented individual is left behind due to economic hardship, and where every brilliant mind has the opportunity to contribute to the nation's growth and prosperity.
